The main crosslinking<br>methods are:<br>\u00b7- crosslinking by radiation,<br>\u00b7- crosslinking by peroxides,<br>\u00b7- crosslinking by silane compounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PEX-b is a cross-linked polyethylene pipe obtained via the silane method, starting from high density polyethylene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The use of silanes as cross-linking agents is based mainly on two industrial methods:<br>1) A TWO-STEP PROCESS (SIOPLAS)<br>2) A ONE-STEP PROCESS (MONOSIL)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our YAC-V171 \/ Vinyltrimethoxysilane CAS 2768-02-7 is well performed for both manufacturing processes.
