Application

• It is a hindered hydrosilane that is often used as a cation scavenger to remove amino acid protecting groups during peptide synthesis.
• It is an important sterically hindered silicone protectant, which is mainly used to protect various types of hydroxyl groups, especially in multifunctional hydroxyl compounds, which can be selectively protected and deprotected.
